Day 17

I’m more than halfway to my goal date and I’ve lost 2.5 inches off of my waist and 1 inch off of my hips where I seem to carry most of my weight. I am so happy with the progress, when I took my measurements yesterday i was hoping for a half of an inch or just any tiny little improvement so this i beyond anything I could have been hoping for. I have lost so much of the fat I was carrying around but i still have far to go. I just finished a quick workout today but I feel as though I could have done better. I’m still having a  lot  of pain in my left calf I know I need to be more diligent with icing it and taking an  anti-inflammatory in the morning so that it will heal and I havent been running. Instead I do jump-training  which believe it or not even though it is still high impact is much more bearable on my leg. Also I’ve taken to doing the stationary bike at the gym since I dont have an  actual bike. I feel like the stationary bike gets a bad rap because some people just sit there and kind of phone it in but when you really kick up the intensity and push it is such a great workout. I did just over 5 miles the other day and I felt like I could have done more but I had a very short window to dedicate to the gym  before I had to be back in the classroom. Tomorrow is the same deal because  I have an hour and 15 between classes and then I head to work  right after my 2nd class. 

I’ve been doing a good job of keeping  tabs on what I eat and I think that made all the difference this week. Even though I was working my ass off the first two weeks I wasnt  paying  attention  to my calorie intake and I think thats what fucked me up. Anyway i have a ton of things to do today but I’m glad I got a high intensity workout in.
