Day 11

I’m downing another glass of water and then going to start a new workout. Over the last 5 or 6 days i’ve noticed that the routine i was doing was becoming easier for me. I wasn’t working up as much of a sweat  as I was in the beginning and I wasn’t as exhausted at the end. Today is probably gonna be tough but i want this more than I’ve ever wanted it.

Over the last 2 years every single time I weighed myself I would get discouraged…When I was 19 I started weight watchers and I remember after one week I lost 8lbs and I was in disbelief. The thing is that is what happens when you change your diet so drastically - you shed a lot  of water weight initially. Every pound I’ve lost since then has been a pound of SOLID FAT that I worked hard to get rid of.

This time around I’m not as concerned with the number on the scale but more-so with my measurements. This June will be 4 years since I changed my diet and it has become second nature to me. I don’t even miss the crap I used to eat before. I changed my portions, and started eating more fruit and vegetables. The next step for me was to cut my simple carb intake. Growing up in an old school Italian family we eat a lot of bread, a lot of pasta and a lot of cheese - that stuff is my weakness. Now I’ve seen myself go months without eating even a slice of bread, weeks without cheese, and days without pasta and when I do eat pasta its low-carb.

I want this…and I’m literally working my ass off to get it.
